Beginner Course:
In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of your chosen instrument (Violin, Viola, Violoncello or Double Bass). We will establish a very flexible and effective study routine that will help you gain confidence in a matter of weeks.
We will cover parts of the instrument, scales and arpeggios, bow strokes, tuning and select of pieces consistent with the beginner level.
The goals for this first stage include:
- Learning the correct position of the instrument.
- The development of a good basic aural conception.
- Learning about the different parts of the instrument and knowing how to position them, as well as their maintenance and care to learn to respect the instrument.
- Learning to perform together (with an accompanist)
- Learning to make a good sound with your instrument.
- Preparation for recitals and practical examinations.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to sit the ABRSM practical examinations for grade 1-3.

Intermediate Course:
In this course, you will learn deeper and more complex musical elements, which are implicit in the intermediate level pieces.
You will learn more advanced bow strokes and different position displacements on the fingerboard, as well as more advanced techniques of intonation, double strings and the various vibrato styles. In addition, we will work on developing a more complete musical repertoire, including solo pieces, concertos and orchestral pieces. We will also do a special emphasis on the sight-reading component, which it is critical at this level.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to sit the ABRSM practical examinations for grade 4-6.

Advanced Course:
In this course, we will work on refining all the musical elements and techniques you have learned in the previous levels.
This is the time for you to start preparing yourself for the professional life either by performing as a soloist or by being part of a larger musical structure, like a symphony orchestra. You will learn the different aspects of music textures, applied harmony and the study of long format pieces like Sonatas, Suites, Partitas, among others.
Upon successful completion, you will be able to sit the ABRSM practical examinations for grade 7-8 which will further prepare you to sit the Diploma of the ABRSM (DipABRSM)
