When can I begin my class?

After submitting an application form, you will be assessed by the teacher to determine placement. An Administrative Representative will contact you to advise of the fees. Once payment is made, you will be scheduled.

Can I submit an application form after the term has started?

Yes, subject to availability.

On what days are classes held?

Classes are usually held on Mondays to Fridays from 3 pm to 7 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm. Classes can be scheduled at other times by arrangement.

How often will I have a class?

Students registered for both practical and musicianship classes usually have class twice a week, one day for practical classes and one day for musicianship. Sometimes your practical and musicianship can fall on the same day. Students registered for musicianship or practical alone will have classes once a week.

Is there an age limit for registration?

Five years upwards. Young children should be accompanied by their parents during class.

How long will it take me to learn an instrument?

This is highly dependent on the student’s ability, availability of instrument, adequate practice time and application to his/her studies.

Will I sit any exams?

The school conducts its own internal evaluations every term, however students may sit ABRSM external examinations upon recommendation by their teacher.

What is your payment policy?

Students are expected to pay their fees in full before commencement of classes, however a payment plan may be extended to applicants under special conditions. See policy for more information.

What is a CVQ?

CVQs are regionally accepted certifications that meet the CARICOMs proposal for the free movement of certified skilled workers as one of the protocols of the Caribbean Single Market & Economy (CSME).
